Table Maps
Table maps are a visual representation of a floor chart that allows for servers/bartenders to easily locate a particular destination (table number) without having to search through a list. Table Maps are created in TRAY HQ under the Revenue Centers section of the Site. Services and Destinations must exist to create a Table Map. Services can either be imported, created manually per site, or pushed from a node. Destinations are the locations (AKA table numbers) of the customers table location/number. Once the Services and Destinations are created, you can then assign the destinations to the service under the "Services-Destinations" tab. Once these steps are completed then you can create a Table Map.
Permission requirements: View Venue Location, Add Venue Location, Edit Venue Location, Delete Venue Location
Adding a Table Map
Name the map, and chose the service it will apply to. The relevant destinations can be selected from the dropdown. (Note: it is easier to add 5 to 10 tables at a time and position said tables before adding more). The user interface in TRAY HQ will allow you to expand the map exponentially but working in smaller sections is recommended. The left side menu icons will allow you to adjust the shape of table you are adding to the layout. Drag and drop the table accordingly to place it on the table map
*Helpful tip: If you edit this while looking at the POS, the map will update real time with each successive site settings publish.
Copying a Table Map
If you have a new site you are creating with a similar layout, you can click on the "JSON" tab within the table map. If you copy and paste this JSON into a new site it will create all of the destinations and map them to the service selected for the table map.
This will not copy any capacity configurations for the destinations
Activating Table Maps
Multiple table maps can be created for a given service. For example, looking at the table map entered above, this table map can be made active or inactive by clicking on the "Active" button under the status column.
