Pricing Schedules allow you to change the price of an item depending on the day of the week or time.
This is useful for different regular promotions such as "Happy Hour" or "Late Night" pricing.
To add a pricing schedule:
- Login to TRAY HQ
- From the top menu, select SITES.
- From the left menu, select Menus then select Pricing Schedule.
The pricing schedule screen appears. The screen displays the existing pricing schedules.
- To add a price schedule, select Add Schedule.

The following table provides the information about the UI fields in the add schedule screen:

Description
Schedule Name
Enter a special name for the schedule. For example, Happy Hours, Weekend Bonanza, etc.,
Days
Indicates the days when this price is applicable. You can select single or multiple days in a week.
Start Time
Select Indicates the start time of the schedule.
End Time
Indicates the end time of the schedule.
- Click Save to add the pricing schedule or click Cancel to discard the changes.
Select the Push Schedule button for changing the price schedules to the device.
Note: we recommend to use the push the pricing schedules during non-business hours.
You can also push the pricing schedules when the system is offline. The data gets synced once the systems are back online.
Adding an Item to a Pricing Schedule
Once the pricing schedule is created and pushed, navigate to the Menus > Menu section of TRAY HQ. Select the menu item for which you would like to attach the schedule. From the menu item popup select the Pricing tab. In the Price Schedules section, assign an alternative price for this item and from the dropdown select the corresponding Price Schedule. You may add as many price schedules with unique prices to this item by clicking the blue Add Schedule and repeating the steps above. When finished press the save button and publish the menu.
