Bank Deposit
A Bank Deposit is a special type of no sale that allows a user to track/record any deposits. These deposits are then recorded on the Deposits report. This function will allow you to enter deposits for the current day, as well as from previous days
Entering a Bank Deposit
In order to perform a deposit on the POS, go to the Functions tab and select Bank Deposit on the Cash line. Once you do that, the Bank Deposit prompt will appear. To complete the deposit, you will be asked to enter the Bag Number, Deposit Amount and the Business Date. Note: The POS will not let you complete the deposit if one or more of those fields are missing
The Bag number field has a 14 character limit and allows alpha-numeric characters. The Deposit amount has no limit and only allows numeric characters. The Business date field will bring up a calendar for date selection. Note: The POS will not let you complete the deposit if one or more of those fields are missing.
Once you hit the green DEPOSIT button the deposit will be recorded, and all the details can be found in the Deposits report
