Credit Card Readers are devices that are designed to accept payment via Credit/Debit cards. As long as you are using USB connected devices, there is no special configuration needed assuming your payment processing credentials have been set up. If you are using IP or Wi-Fi based readers, you will need to configure the readers on TRAY HQ.
Typically, these devices cannot accept gift card or employee swipe cards except under special circumstances.
TRAY Primarily uses FreedomPay as our gateway. Via FreedomPay, we currently support:
- Lane 3000
- Moby 5500
- Move 5000 (FreedomPay Canada)
We are currently in the process of testing with other Ingenico payment devices that are under certification with FreedomPay such as the ELO M60, and the Lane 3600

Unsupported Readers
- MagTek eDynamo
There are some TRAY Users that are still using the MagTek eDynamo. This device. while still functional for existing users, is no longer offered by TRAY.
- IPP 350/320
The IPP350/320 series devices have been sunset by Ingenico and are no longer offered by TRAY.
